Alyssa's ramblings...

I bet you thought I was shy.

On Sundays I go to the Drama group 'Crossroads' that's run by our church. And I bet you thought I was shy! (hence the title...) It's so fun. We do Theatre Sports, mainly, and I'm as out there as they come. I never feel self-conscious or anything. It's a place where you can just act like an idiot and not feel weird about it, because everyone else is acting like an idiot too. I love it heaps. Another thing to fill up my already-busy schedule! :o)

Take this week for example...
Sunday: Morning Church (9:00), Youth Music Practise (11:30), Crossroads (3:30), Evening Church (6:00).
Monday: Work, Dinner at Mum's house.
Tuesday: Work... OK, so Tuesday night was free, but we were originally going to go to The Search. Instead, we stayed home and watched Australian Idol and The O.C. (Man, I love that show!)
Wednesday: Work, Home Group (7:30).
Thursday: Work... Thursday was free too. But we usually have something on! Sometimes. Hmmm...
Friday (i.e. today): Work, Church Music Practise (7:30).
Saturday: Unit-Hunting!, Production Team (4:30), Prayer Meeting (5:00), Music Practise (6:00), Youth (7:00).

I wouldn't trade any of this for the world, though! And truth be told, sometimes we only have one night of the week free. But I love it! Yay!!!

Speaking of Crossroads, on Sunday my group did a cool skit where we were at a Beauty Contest, and Jamie would yell out an emotion, and we'd have to continue the scene with that emotion. It was called 'Emotional Rollercoaster', and man, it was so fun!!! We had a ball (not literally), and everyone was laughing, because we were obviously hilariously funny.

This weekend we're having a Theatre Sports competition (among ourselves, not an official one). Because we love to compete. So needless to say, my group is going to WIN!!! Or we'll come last. Whatever tickles your fancy. :o)
